Meet Kyra, Founder of Haven Travel
Travel has always been my greatest passion, so when I was ready for a career change, becoming a travel advisor felt like a natural next step. I had spent years happily planning trips for my own family, and in 2021 I turned that love into Haven Travel.
Cruises and all-inclusive resorts are my specialty for a simple reason: they are the vacations I choose for my own family again and again. I know what makes them special, and I love helping other travelers find the one that fits them best.
From my home base in Houston, Texas, I help travelers turn their dream vacations into reality, wherever in the world they are being called.
My approach starts with listening. I want to understand why a destination is calling you and what you hope to feel when you get there, because those answers shape everything that follows, from the ship or resort to the pace of each day. I keep in touch by email, text, or phone, whichever suits you.
My goal is simple: to plan trips that become lasting memories, shaped around what matters most to you.
My own favorite trip so far took me through New Zealand and Australia, with time in Auckland, a cruise from Auckland to Sydney, and a stay in Sydney. Mexico is another favorite, a place my family and I return to often.
